ちょっと変わった、考えさせられるSFゲーム『The Alters』についてお話しします。

このゲームの舞台は遠い惑星。生き延びるために、主人公のジャン・ドルスキーは自分の中に潜む“もう一人の自分”たちと共に生きる決意をします🧑‍。彼は、人生の別の道からクローンを作り出し、それぞれにスキルを与えていくのです🏗️。でもね、そのクローンたちの中には、「こんなことは望んでいなかった」と不満を抱く者もいるとか...。

💭 このゲームの一番の魅力は、「自分について深く考える」こと。なぜ自分は今の自分でいるのか？どんな選択や出来事がその自分を形作ったのか？ 小さな決断や言い訳、そして負担にどう向き合うのか――。

クリストファー・バードさんはこのゲームを「刺激的なストレスをもたらす作品」と絶賛し、「プレイヤーに自分の優先すべきことについて振り返らせ、他者や自分自身に何をすべきか考えさせる」と語っています🤔。

Why are you who you are? What choices and events create the you that exists, and decide how you agonize over small decisions or handle excuses or burdens?

The Alters is a sci-fi video game about a man physically confronted with such questions. To survive on a remote planet, Jan Dolski must learn to live with the other selves he might have been. Using technology on his ship, he grows clones of himself based on alternate paths from his own life that have skills he needs — a builder, a technician. Some of the clones are less than pleased with this arrangement.

Our critic, Christopher Byrd, found the game “rewardingly stressful.” He writes that The Alters invites “players to reflect on their own priorities, and to ponder what we owe others and what we owe ourselves.”

🎙️ 皆さん、こんにちは！今日は少し深いテーマについてお話ししたいと思います💭。

「私の意見」
そして「自分について深く考えること」の重要性についてです🤔。私も思うのですけれども、自分を客観的に見つめられることって、本当に大切だなあ、と感じています。

なぜかというとね、自分の中で「先生は誰か？」と考えたときに、自分が自分の先生であることが、一番大事なんじゃないかと思うのです🧑‍。それって、人生を前に進めるパフォーマンスを良くするためにも、とっても役立つと思います。

また、その時その時で、「自分を客観的に見る」ことが大切だと私は思います🤝。たとえ、それがすぐには難しくても、ちょっと時間を置いてみること。そして、少し距離を取ることで、「あ、こういうことに気づけた！」ってことがあります🕰️。

まだ未熟な部分もあるかもしれませんが、その「気づき」だけでも十分だと思います。毎日少しずつ、自分に気づいていく、それが成長への第一歩だと私は信じています。

I believe that having understood the importance of reflecting on oneself 💭 is crucial.
🕰️ I have realized that it has been essential to be able to observe oneself objectively, and this has been something I have consistently thought about.
By the time I will have reflected on my actions, I will have gained new insights that I have been seeking 🧘‍♂️.
I have always believed that it is important to take a step back and have given myself some time before reacting, because this will have helped me grow .
🤝 I have also known that if I will have practiced observing myself objectively, it will have contributed significantly to my personal development .
By tomorrow, I will have reflected enough times to have realized where I might still need improvement .
In conclusion, I believe that if I will have continued these habits, I will have become a better version of myself by then .
